At Click the Cookie we want you to be sure about us before you commit to any purchase. That is why we have written the terms and conditions below so that you can be certain how we work. They are important to both you and ourselves, so please take a few minutes to read them.
Naturally, it is our policy to not only sell you what you want but to make sure that you, or your recipient, are delighted with your purchase. The whole notion of our business is to please you so that you will want to shop with us again.
In order to do this part of our policy is to be open and transparent on both our site and at personal level which is why we are always pleased to receive telephone calls.
When you buy products from Click the Cookie you are bound by the Terms and Conditions shown below. These terms do not affect your statutory rights and in all cases English Law will apply.
Click the Cookie will do everything possible to ensure that all orders which are received will be processed and delivered as fast as possible. If anything prevents this we will contact you and arrange an alternative course of action or to cancel the order. If we are unable to fulfill your order for any reason, we will arrange a refund within 5 working days.
When you place an order with Click the Cookie, we will contact you, usually by e-mail to confirm the details of your order, together with the amount charged to your credit card, etc.
Should the ordered item arrive in damaged condition you must advise us within 3 working days.

We will acknowledge any complaint within 5 working days and we will tell you how long we think that it will take to resolve your
problem.
If you are not entirely happy with any purchase from Click the Cookie we will be pleased to refund the purchase price.

returns procedure is detailed in the How to Order section.
It is your responsibility to ensure that the credit card or debit card, which you are using is your own, that you are over 18 years of age and that sufficient funds are available to pay for the total cost of your purchase. If you are in breach of the above, you may also be in breach of the law.
Click the Cookie has the right to decline any orders. All prices shown include VAT
as appropriate at the current rate. We are registered under the Data Protection Act. All rights, design, copyright and trademarks are the property of Click the Cookie.

SECURITY |
Click the Cookie is part of the revolution in on-line shopping. It's
new, it's exciting and it's fun but we do know that some people are
still concerned about personal and credit card information on the
Internet.
We want to reassure you that shopping with Click the Cookie is a safe
place to shop. Click the Cookie uses Secure Server software to code your
information, this process is called encryption. Our ISP's use a variety
of techniques including ‘Firewalls' to block any unauthorised traffic
to the servers. Encrypted information sent in this way can only be
de-coded by ourselves.
We know of no documented cases of Credit Card fraud using our shopping
system over the Internet. This information is not held in clear text on
any web site.
However, if you still have doubts we are more than happy to accept
orders by phone 01279 793 3090, by fax 01279 792 282 or even by
snail-mail through the post to Click the Cookie, PO Box Number 679,
Harlow, Essex CM19 5HQ. To use any of these methods please see the How
to Order section or print off the fax order form which will show you all
the information which we will need to process your order.
Please note. Orders placed by phone, fax or through the post (by cheque)
do not carry the same levels of security as orders placed on-line for
the reasons explained above. Orders placed in this way or by post may
take longer to process, for example, cheques have to be cleared by our
bank. |
PRIVACY

Click the Cookie holds the privacy of its customers in the highest regard.
Like any other good shop keeper, we like to remember various things about you, as it makes more effective use of both yours and our time. The only difference between ourselves and a more conventional shop keeper, is that we may store this information electronically.
If for example, you purchase a product from us we will store both your home and
e-mail addresses together will any other information which you may have given to ourselves.
This information we hold in total confidence, We will never pass on your details to any other party without your express permission to do so.
We are registered with the Data Protection Registrar.
At Click the Cookie you have an opportunity to ‘opt-in' to receive further information from
ourselves - see our Update Service. You can cancel this process at any
time - details are provided in the acknowledgement e-mail which is sent out to
all subscribers of the update service.
We also use tracking technology to provide marketing information to help to constantly improve our product range and service.
